What is FryAway?
FryAway is a plant-based product that transforms used cooking oil from liquid to solid in 3 easy steps. Just sprinkle, cool and toss away the hardened oil in household garbage, making cleanup easier, better for your plumbing and nicer to the planet!
I’M NEW TO FRYAWAY. WHICH PRODUCT DO I USE?
Use Fry Away Pan Fry when pan frying with up to 2 cups / 0.5 liter of oil. Fry Away Pan Fry is for those times you are frying smaller batches or cooking with smaller quantities of oil.
We recommend FryAway Deep Fry when deep frying with larger amounts of oil -- up to 8 cups / 2 liters.
HOW DO I USE FRYAWAY?
Safety first! Turn off the heat source and remove the food from the oil. Now youre ready to use FryAway.
1) Sprinkle contents of FryAway packet into hot oil and stir to dissolve.
2) Allow the oil to cool down and harden.
3) Scoop and toss the hardened oil in the trash.
Remember: once you use FryAway, you cannot reuse the oil.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO USE FRYAWAY?
If you have leftover cooking oil and can answer YES to the following three statements, you are ready for FryAway:
1) Turned off the heat on the stove/deep fryer
2) Removed food from the oil
3) Will not be reusing the oil to cook food
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?
With FryAway, cooking oil will harden once it cools to a temperature of 100 degrees F / 38 degrees celsius. The process usually takes about 30 minutes.
I USED FRYAWAY AND MY OIL IS NOT HARDENING. WHAT DO I DO?
If the oil is not hardening, there may be too much oil for the amount of FryAway added in. Reheat the oil to at least 170 degrees F and add more FryAway powder to set. Measurements are as follows: 1 packet of FryAway Pan Fry = up to 2 cups / 0.5 liter of oil, 1 packet of FryAway Deep Fry = up to 8 cups / 2 liters of oil
WHERE SHOULD I STORE FRYAWAY?
It is recommended to store FryAway in a cool, dark area away from heat and moisture
